Freshman Year (2009-10): Outdoor Track: Competed in two events for the Raiders. At the Syracuse University Welcome Back, Sauter ran a season-best of 2:29.78 in the 800-meter run. She clocked a season-best of 5:11.19 at the Hamilton College Mid-Week in the 1,500-meter run.
Indoor Track: Competed primarily in distance events for the Raiders. Sauter clocked a season-best of 3:09.39 in the 1,000-meter run at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open. At the Syracuse University Welcome Back, she ran a season-best of 5:37.84 in the mile. Sauter posted a personal-record of 11:17.73 at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open in the 3,000-meter run.
Before Colgate: Sauter ran cross country and indoor track all four years, as well as competing in outdoor Track her junior and senior years. Sauter earned a total of 10 varsity letters. All four years of cross country Sauter made the All-State team, finishing a personal best of 5th place overall in the State Championship race. She was also named her team’s Most Valuable Player four times in cross country, four times in indoor track, and twice in outdoor track.??In track Sauter ran mid-distance and distance events ranging from the 400m to the 5000m. Personal bests include 58.0s in the 400m, 2:17 in the 800m, 4:47 in the 1500m, 10:42 in the 3000m, and 18:30 in the 5000m.
