Sophomore Year (2009-10): Outdoor Track: Competed in the 800m and 1,500m runs for the Raiders. She posted a season-best time of 2:18.78 in the 800m at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic and at the Princeton Larry Ellis Friday Night Races ran a season-best 4:35.26 in the 1,500m.
Indoor Track: At the Yale Giegengack Invitational she ran a season-best 2:21.00 in the 800m and in the 1,000m at the Patriot League Championships she ran a season-best 2:59.24. At the Colgate University Class of '32 Invitational she ran a season-best 5:05.51 in the 1 Mile run and ran a season-best of 10:26.42 in the 3,000m run at the Syracuse University Welcome Back Invitational. At Penn Relays, Lyons split a 4.52 in the 1500m.
Freshman Year (2008-09): Outdoor Track: Competed in the middle distances. Ran a season-best time of 4:40.94 in the 1,500-meter run at the Larry Ellis Invitational. She finished eighth overall at the Patriot League Championship with a time of 4:45.11 and posted a season-best time of 2:22.41 in the 800-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Indoor Track: Lyons ran a season-best time of 2:26.47 in the 800-meter run at the Syracuse Invitational. She also posted a season-best time of 5:29.40 in the mile at the Syracuse Welcome Back Meet.
Before Colgate: Lyons is a three-year Varsity letter winner in cross country and indoor track, and is a four-year varsity letter winner in outdoor track. Her junior and senior year, Lyons led as captain for the outdoor track and cross country teams and was captain of indoor track her senior year. Lyons' senior year she earned 42nd in the New England cross country meet, assisting her team for a fourth place overall finish. Her strong performances in cross country have earned her the title of MVP her junior year. Lyons additionally earned the Leadership Award for cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track her senior year. Her personal records include 5:20 for the mile, 2:19 for the 800m.??
Off the field, Lyons was a member of the National Honors Society, Knitwitts, Key Club, and the Wilton Running Club.
Personal: Kendall Lyons was born in Wilton, Conn., the daughter of Joseph and Cindy Lyons. Lyons has two siblings, Kerri and Paige Lyons. Her major is Psychology.
