Colgate University Athletics

Freshman Year (2009): Prins ran strong at her first Cross Country race, the Harry Lang Invitational, running with the lead pack for the majority of the race.  She ran an 18.52 at the Albany Invitational and a 23.18 at the Paul Short Invitational.

Before Colgate: Was a four-year Varsity letter winner in Soccer and Track ... served as Captain for both the Soccer and Track as a senior ... helped lead her team earn the titles of the New Jersey Indoor State Relay Champions in the 4x800m relay and the New Jersey Indoor State Sectional Champions ... ran mid-distance and distance events in Track, including both individual events and relays ... her personal records include 5:09 for 1600m and 11:09 in the 3200m ... was also the Key Club Secretary, Peer Leader, and Student Council Secretary. 

Personal: Caroline Prins was born in Harrisburg, Pa., the daughter of Kate and Bill Prins.  Prins has three siblings, Bill, Katewatson, and Elizabeth ... major is undeclared.
