Coach Hunt on Curtis: "Curtis was developing into a solid outside linebacker for us. This was supposed to be his year. He was ready to be the starter, we were ready for him to be the starter, everything was looking good – and then he had the heart issue where he can't play anymore. And as with some of his classmates, he could have left. He could have ridden off into the sunset and gone on to do other things. But he's at practice every day looking for ways to help this team. Good teams have good character, and when you look at this class, of the kids who were in season-ending or career-ending injury situations, they all want to be around. Curtis certainly is one of the leaders of that group. He can't play and he's not out there in uniform but if you watch him during a game, he's into it and he's rallying the team. You can't help but have a lot of respect for that."
