Coach Hunt on James: "When he came in, we really believed in him and he never disappointed us. He's one of those guys who it feels like he's been here longer than his five years. Over the course of his time here, he's had so many big runs, so many touchdowns and huge plays. He's really grown personally in his five years here and he's a person who when he leaves here, I know he'll do great things and be a great father and husband. He's gotten everything you'd want to get out of college and college football, and hopefully now he'll get the recognition he deserves as being one of the most elite running backs we've ever had and the league has ever had."

Caught passes in each of last five games, including three against both Bucknell and Georgetown.

Coach Hunt on James: "James is another guy who was instrumental in the 2015 season, particularly at the end of the year. He became a red-zone guy and then had a great playoff game at James Madison with the long run for a touchdown. He started off last year really playing well in the Yale game and at Richmond before having the season-ending injury. He came back this year, played well early and then was nicked up a little bit. It took a while to get back to full speed, but he showed that he's as good as any back in the Patriot League. He can take over a game and be a dominant running back. He's another one who looks like he's going to return next year and it's going to be interesting to see how high he can go. When it's all said and done, people are going to say James was one of the best backs Colgate has ever had. He's fun to watch."
