Coach Hunt on Jordan: "JJ is one of the most special people to ever play here. I can't tell you the value he brings to a football team on a day-to-day basis. When he's out there, you know it and the feel of practice is different. And when he misses time, and he's had some injuries, you know it. It's the pure love of the game and the pure joy of practice that he brings. In addition to obviously being a very good player and a very good defensive back who made a lot of plays for us, the intangibles he brings – he's one of those guys who, for me as a coach, makes it more fun to come to practice. There's nothing I wouldn't do for him; there's nothing Colgate wouldn't do for him. He is another person who will take on the world and be great, but talk about an impact when he leaves – I don't know that anyone can fill those shoes. I wanted this spring season for him because he was in his fifth year already. Anytime it got hard, we just thought of JJ. We tried to do everything we could to let him play some football. He's going to be missed."

Best Games: Career-high eight tackles in 24-14 road victory over Georgetown ... Added three stops followed week in 24-13 home win over Fordham ... Posted first collegiate sack for 6-yard loss in 21-20 triumph at Cornell ... Matched career high with two pass breakups in 16-0 shutout at Lafayette in season finale ... Missed three games early in season because of injury ... Returned to start at Sept. 28 at Dartmouth and started final eight games ... Forced fumbles at Cornell and Georgetown.
Coach Hunt on Jordan: "Jordan is by far the guy you notice when he's not there. He brings energy, he brings passion and he's a good football player. He's another guy who can get you lined up in the secondary who has made a lot of plays for us. But he is the spark. We had a stretch where he wasn't playing and it was noticeable because his energy wasn't there. He's the guy who all he wants to do is win. He's a competitor, but he is a competitor for the team. He's not too into individual accolades, which makes him a great defensive player. Always knew what he was doing and was productive on defense and special teams. He'll be another guy who will be missed more when he's gone for a year because he does more than we think."

Three pass breakups ... Part of Colgate defense that led nation in scoring defense at 9.3, total defense at 237.7 and pass efficiency defense with 88.77 rating ... Raiders led Patriot League and ranked seventh nationally in rushing defense at 100.8 ... Colgate in streaking to 9-0 start allowed just 29 points during that span and tied NCAA FCS record with five shutouts in one season ... The Raiders never trailed at any point during those first nine games ... Over seven-game stretch, Colgate allowed 3, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0 and 0 points ... In 41-0 victory at Fordham that clinched Patriot League championship, Colgate posted season-high seven sacks that afternoon and set program record by holding Fordham to minus-50 rushing yards and 28 total yards.
