HAMILTON – Colgate placed 126 student-athletes from seven sports on the 2017 Patriot League Fall Academic Honor Roll for strong performances in the classroom during the fall semester.
 
This year's number marks an impressive 18.9 percent increase over Colgate's fall 2016 total and the fifth straight year the new honor roll has exceeded the previous fall semester.
 
For reference, the Raiders in five years have nearly doubled the 64 student-athletes who qualified for the honor roll back in 2012, followed by 71, 85, 100 and then 106 a year ago.
 
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
