HAMILTON – Colgate University student-athletes have elevated their Graduation Success Rate (GSR) to 98 percent, according to the NCAA data released on Wednesday.
Colgate's 98 percent graduation success rate ranked No. 1 in the Patriot League and placed the Raiders among the top 20 nationally – alongside contemporaries such as Villanova, Pennsylvania, and Princeton. Colgate's mark is up from its four-year standing rate of 97 percent.
"This 98 percent graduation success rate reflects the unwavering commitment of our student-athletes to academic excellence and personal growth," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Yariv Amir '01. "It also underscores the dedication of our coaches, faculty, and support staff who guide them throughout their collegiate journey. We take great pride in seeing our student-athletes achieve their goals both in competition and in the classroom."

This year's data is for the class of student-athletes who entered Colgate in 2018-19. Under the GSR formula, Colgate's 16 varsity athletics programs that totaled perfect GSR scores include:
