MISSION STATEMENT
The program supports student-athletes in reaching their full potential. Our fundamental premise lies in developing self-reliant and independent learners while fostering the overall growth and maturation of every student-athlete. We assist student-athletes in creating comprehensive educational plans, including specific goals in the area of academic success and career development. In addition, all student-athletes are encouraged to integrate and participate as vested members in the academic community. We are fully committed to enhance student-athletes' undergraduate experience, well-being, and overall development through collaboration with campus resources.

The Student-Athlete Academic Achievement program aims to create an environment to help student-athletes realize their potential academically, athletically, and socially through the following services:
- Individual meetings with Academic Achievement staff
- The Athletic Academic Achievement Center, available to all student-athletes seven days a week
- Transitioning to University life
- Making connections to campus resources
- Encouraging use of The Center for Learning, Teaching, and Research (CLTR) for help with time management, lecture note processing, active reading, academic accommodations
- Develop individual educational plans
- Setting goals for academic majors
- Designing semester schedules
