Gupta Wins Second-Straight Singles Bout

Tejas Gupta shines as Colgate loses to Marist, 5-2

Box Score SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Tejas Gupta logged his second-straight win in singles six, and the Raiders claimed the doubles point with wins from Parker McGowan/Aidan Lee and Aidan Chung/John Fazli, but Colgate fell to Marist, 5-2, at home on Saturday night.

A strong start put the Raiders in front early when McGowan/Lee (6-3) and Chung/Fazli (6-4) handled business on courts two and three, respectively.

However, the Red Foxes stormed back, sweeping singles one through three and leaving the weight of the duel on Ben Graham despite Gupta's win on six.

The junior fought hard through three sets, but Graham ultimately fell 2-6, 6-3, 4-6 to tilt the duel in the visitor's favor.
