Colgate Falls to Bucknell in Friday Night Home Match

Vlassis’ and Gupta’s Singles Victories Not Enough to Beat the Bison

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Colgate Men's Tennis dropped to 2-3 in Patriot League play after falling to the Bucknell Bison at home by a final score of 5-2.

Benito Vlassis followed up his singles victory last Sunday against Lehigh with another one today while Tejas Gupta was also able to secure a win for Colgate. Aidan Lee narrowly lost after three hard fought sets. Vlassis secured a comeback victory after dropping his first set 2-6 before bouncing back with a 6-2 and 6-0 finish. Gupta won his battle in two sets with a score of 7-6(6) and 6-4.
