ROME, N.Y. — The Raiders' women's rowing team hosted the Colgate Regatta on the Erie Canal Saturday. Colgate raced against Lehigh, Canisius, Marist, and D'Youville.

The morning session was head-to-head races with the finals following in the afternoon.

The Raiders' varsity eight came in at 7:02.0 but was defeated by Lehigh. In the Petite Final, Colgate finished the course in 7:11.06, defeating Canisius by 12 seconds.

Colgate's second varsity eight edged out Lehigh by three seconds in its heat, crossing the finish line in 7:13.11. The Raiders then raced in the Grand Final, coming in at 7:25.26 shortly after the winning boat from Marist.

The Raiders' varsity four finished third in its heat with a time of 8:43.2, which was just four seconds behind the second place boat from D'Youville. Colgate then placed second in the Petite Final coming in just seven seconds after D'Youville and 18 seconds ahead of Canisius with a time of 8:46.8.

Colgate's second varsity four placed second to Marist in its heat with a time of 8:50.3.
