HAMILTON, N.Y. – After dropping the doubles point, Colgate stormed back to defeat visiting Monmouth 4-3 at the J.W. Abrahamson Courts Friday afternoon. With the victory, the Raiders concluded the regular season with 11 wins, their most since the 2012-13 campaign. 

Colgate's No. 3 doubles team of Katerina Atallah and Emily Untermeyer claimed victory over the Hawks' Madison Mills and Lauren Landstrom, but Monmouth triumphed on the No. 1 and 2 courts to take the early 1-0 lead into singles play. 

The Raiders accepted the challenge and responded with straight-set victories on the No. 1, 2, and 3 singles courts. On Court 4, Untermeyer went the distance with Mills, prevailing in a third set tiebreak to clinch the win for the Raiders. It was Untermeyer's fourth straight singles victory.

Colgate (11-9, 3-2) will now set its sights on the Patriot League Tournament, which is hosted by Lehigh and begins Thursday, April 21 in Bethlehem, Pa.
