Box Score 2 SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Colgate women's tennis team traveled to San Diego for their spring break trip this year, where they competed against Point Loma and Dartmouth. The Raiders fell 2-5 to Point Loma, with their two points coming from doubles and senior captain

Rebecca Hess were able to pick up a win at line three doubles.
COLGATE 2 - POINT LOMA 5
The Raiders came out strong in doubles, as Isaac and Hess picked up a 6-2 win at line three to give the squad an early advantage in the doubles point. Senior captain Sasha Herman and junior Carina Cristobal would then fall 7-5, but Galin and junior Sophia Montero would clinch the point with a 7-5 win.
In a singles point filled with battles, Point Loma would start out on top, picking up wins at lines three, four, and five in straight sets to take a 3-1 advantage in the match. The remaining three matches would be three set marathons, with the Raiders battling back from losing the first set in all three. Galin won 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, but Montero and junior Carina Cristobal would both lose their third sets.
COLGATE 0 - DARTMOUTH 7
On Wednesday, the Raiders matched up with Ivy league foes Dartmouth. The Raiders fell at lines one and two doubles, but Isaac and Hess would pick up a 7-6(4) win at line three.
In singles action, Dartmouth was able to take all six matches in straight sets. Hess was able to push her first set into a breaker, but eventually fell 7-6, 6-1. Montero had the next closest match, falling 6-4, 6-3 at line two singles.
The Raiders return to action next Saturday March 28, where they will travel to Easton to take on Lafayette at 3 p.m.
