BINGHAMTON, N.Y.­ – The Colgate men's tennis team picked up a 4-1 win over Merrimack College on Friday evening at the Binghamton Tennis Club.
 
The win was head coach Bobby Pennington's 150^th victory with the Raiders' men's team. It was also his 275th overall victory. 
 
Colgate opened the match with doubles wins at No. 2 and No. 3. The Raiders then picked up singles victories at spots 4-6.

"That was the most complete match yet for our men. We looked so sharp in doubles and had the right guys in the right spots. In singles we knew they had an elite top three, but our depth with Vlassis, Romig and Potter won us the match. Our next three matches with Lehigh, Bucknell and Boston U are ones we have been awaiting all year. Per usual, we are peaking at the perfect time."
