WORCESTER, Mass. – Upon returning to the northeast after two challenging matches in Hilton Head, S.C. over spring break, the Colgate women's tennis team kicked off Patriot League play with a 7-0 shutout of Holy Cross at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility Sunday afternoon.

The Raiders were spectacular throughout the lineup, taking the doubles point with all three wins and then running the tables in singles as well.

Colgate (7-6, 1-0 PL) resumes both non-conference and league competition next weekend, facing Merrimack on Friday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Colgate's J.W. Abrahamson Tennis Courts and Lehigh on Sunday, March 27 at 10 a.m. in Bethlehem, Pa.
