FROM THE SOURCE
On his overall thoughts on the match, head coach Bobby Pennington said, "Tough end to an amazing season for the boys. We were able to play our entire schedule and tournament without getting paused, which is quite an accomplishment. We also proved we are in the very upper tier of our league with wins over Boston and Bucknell, and a narrow loss by one point to Lehigh. Navy showed why they are unbeaten and multiple-time Patriot League defending champs.
"
Mike Thomas and
Rohan Gupta get game balls today as they both had their guys on the ropes, ready to win. We also celebrate the careers of
Tyler Krantz,
Jack Ablon and
Francis Scott Bickel. With eight guys returning next year and four elite recruits, the future is bright."
