The Colgate Women's Cross Country team finished in 11^thplace with 282 points at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Saturday. 
 
Sophia Manners led the way for Colgate and finished the race 19^th overall with a time of 18:54. 
 
After Manners, Colgate had four more runners finish in the top 100. Following behind Manners was Maria Laverde and Emma Pizer. Maria Laverde crossed the line at 20:08 and Pizer came in just one second after Laverde marking a time of 20:09. Abby Melican followed shortly after Pizer, finishing with a time of 20:37. Rounding out the top five finishers for Colgate was Kara Shepard crossing the line at 21:01. 
 
THE RUNDOWN
Sophia Manners came in 19^thplace with a time of 18:54.
Maria Laverde finished in 20:08.
Emma Pizer completed the race in 20:09.
Abigail Melican crossed the line at 20:37. 
Kara Shepard ran a time of 21:01. 
Taylor Mitchell posted a time of 22:30.

"It has been a year of growth for both our men's and our women's program. Sophia's leadership on the women's side has both pushed her to new levels of excellence and paved the way for our returners next season. I am so proud of all the things she has accomplished this season. I am happy to see her end the season with a great finish today. Our underclassmen have continued to improve through out the season and with everyone returning next year is looking promising."
