FROM THE SOURCE
Associate Head Cross Country Coach Kim Keenan-Kirkpatrick
"Freshman
Owen McMorrow led the team for the second consecutive week. He was closely followed by junior
Gavin Fowler and sophomore
Ben Horner. The men's team finished 13th overall. It was a good learning experience for many of our men who had never run 8k before.
"On the women's side today we were led by senior
Emma Pizer who had a great race and finished 13th. With only a partial squad racing, we had five athletes step up and do what we asked and competed hard,
Carollin Mellin and Kara Shepherd put in strong performances.
"We will build upon this performance to get better for the end of the season."
UP NEXT
The Raiders will take a week off before hitting the road again for the Paul Short Invitational held by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, Sept. 30.
