EASTON, Pa. – The Colgate women's tennis team fell in a heartbreaker on the road to Lafayette, 4-3, Saturday at Sullivan Courts.
 
The Raiders closed out their regular season slate with an overall mark of 6-13 and 1-5 in Patriot League play. Lafayette improved to 9-11 on the season and to 2-5 in conference play.
 
Kelly Klein was the Raiders' top performer, collecting wins in both singles and doubles play. In singles, she needed just two sets to power past Lafayette's Katie Hill. Klein and partner Cheyenne Brown brought the Raiders their lone win at the No. 2 doubles match.
 
MacKenzie Deeter, and Jordan Williams also took their singles matches in just two sets. Deeter won the No. 1 match with consecutive 6-2 sets. Williams won the first set 6-3 and followed it up with a 6-4 triumph.
