Raiders Keep Rolling with Sweep of Redhawks

Colgate Improved to 8-2 with a 7-0 Victory over Roberts Wesleyan Saturday

VERONA, N.Y. – Colgate Men's Tennis posted a 7-0 sweep of Roberts Wesleyan Saturday at the Turning Stone Casino Sportsplex.

The Redhawks won the No. 1 doubles match, but Nick Laub/Bobby Alter and Dean Koman/Jake Hirschberg won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches, respectively, to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead.

Singles play saw Colgate cruise, taking all six singles matches in straight sets to pick up their third straight victory.

Alter, Laub and Hirschberg were all victorious in both doubles and singles play. Jacob Daugherty, Noah Rosenblat and Win Reynolds picked up wins in singles competition.

"This a was quality start-to-finish win for the men yet again today. We squeaked out the doubles point and looked razor sharp in the singles. The energy, culture and hunger are second to none.
