Raiders Tame Pride for 10th Victory

Colgate Improved to 10-3 Overall with 5-2 Triumph over Hofstra Sunday

OCEANSIDE, N.Y. – Colgate Men's Tennis recorded its 10th victory of the season Sunday with a 5-2 win over Hofstra at Point Set Indoor.

The Raiders swept all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. The pairings of Jacob Daugherty and Tom Haile, Bobby Alter and Nick Laub, and Dean Koman and Win Reynolds combined to give the Raiders the opening point.

Singles play saw Alter, Daugherty, Reynolds and Jake Hirschberg all win their respective matches to propel the Raiders the victory. Daugherty and Hirschberg both went to third sets before proving victorious in their matches. Hirschberg and Reynolds, meanwhile, won their matches in straight sets.
