WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Colgate women's tennis team finished out spring break by taking on Army on Sunday.
The Raiders tested the Black Knights early in the match but were defeated 7-0.
Kelsey Shea and
Alex Petrini competed the best out of three doubles matches, but were defeated 8-5 as the Black Knights took the doubles point to open the match.
Lindsey Madnick and
Hannah Fleckenstein were defeated 8-5 to finish out the doubles matches on Sunday.
The Raiders also had a tough time in singles play dropping all six matches for the day. Shea played in the top spot with a 6-3, 6-2 loss while
Jennifer Ho came in with a 6-1 loss in the first set and 6-2 in the second set.
Katie Grant,
Kaelin Brittin, Kristie Woodbury each dropped matches to round out the bottom of the singles ladder.
The Raiders will host Navy on Saturday at noon.
