HAMILTON – The Colgate men's tennis team was in action this past weekend at Turning Stone Resort and dropped two Patriot League matches against Bucknell and Lehigh.

The first match came against Bucknell on Saturday and the Raiders came up short in doubles with the Bison winning all three matches.

Luke Gensburg was able to break through in singles with a three-set win in the top spot. He won the first set by a 6-3 score, but the second set belonged to Nick Bybel as he earned a 6-1 win. Gensburg then fired back with a 6-1 victory of his own to take the win. Alan Pleat was another winner for Colgate at the fifth spot as he went three sets as well. He came back after a tough first set loss and answered with a 6-4 win in the second and a 10-5 win in the tiebreaker.

Against Lehigh on Sunday, the Mountain Hawks took the doubles point and won five of the six singles matches. Pleat was the lone winner for the Raiders in the fifth position in the lineup. He won a proset, 8-7, after the match had already been decided.

Next up for the Raiders is Senior Day on Saturday against Army.
