ITHACA, N.Y. (3/13/11) – The Colgate men's tennis team dropped its second-straight match with a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Cornell.
The Raiders fell in all three doubles matches. The closest match of the three came in the third position as
Luke Gensburg and
Sean Spellberg fell by a close 8-6 score.
In singles, Cornell only dropped one set the entire match.
Bobby Berkowitz forced his opponent to three sets after taking a 6-1 win in the second set. He fell in the final set by a 6-2 score after dropping the opening set in close fashion with a 7-5 defeat.
The Raiders will head down to Orlando for its Spring Break, beginning on Monday against Liberty.
