SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Colgate University men's golf team posted a 12th-place finish this weekend at The Savannah Intercollegiate, hosted by JGW Golf at The Club at Savannah Harbor.
Colgate finished the 54-hole tournament at 46-over par (910), carding team rounds of 12-over, 14-over, and 20-over across the two-day event.
Jayden Freedman led the Raiders with an impressive performance, tying for seventh place overall at 5-over par. Freedman opened the tournament with a 1-under round and remained steady throughout, firing a 2-under in the final round to position himself among the event's top finishers in a strong 108-player field.
Brayden Dock finished tied for 42nd at 12-over par, highlighted by a consistent middle round.
Ronav Benak added a tie for 55th finish at 14-over, while
Jamison Bryant tied for 63rd at 17-over.
Leo Li rounded out the Raiders' scoring lineup, finishing tied for 91st at 23-over.
Competing as individuals,
Gabriel Garson-Goroway finished tied for 49th at 13-over, and
Chad Ruggiero added valuable tournament experience with a 31-over showing.
The Raiders competed against a competitive NCAA Division I field, with West Georgia claiming the team title at 24-over par.
