WEST POINT, N.Y. –
Ronav Benak remains in the top 20 through two rounds of the Patriot League championship at the 6,136-yard, par-70 West Point Golf Course.
Facing challenging weather conditions that included a mix of wind and rain throughout Saturday morning, Benak turned in a 6-over 76. The first-year birdied three of his first five holes before carding a 7-over on the back nine. He sits tied for 12th at 8-over (148) for the tournament.
Jayden Freedman remains in the thick of the mid-pack competition, tied for 33rd after carding an 80 in Round 2 to move to 155 overall (+15)
. Alex Hill shot an 81 in Round 2 to move to 158 (+18), tied in 40th place with Brayden Dock, who shaved off four strokes in Round 2 to finish with a 77.
Leo Li and
Jamison Bryant round out Colgate's contingent in 45th place with two-round scores of 159.
