HAMILTON – Colgate gears up for the 2026 Patriot League Men's Golf Championship with first-round play set to begin on Friday at the par-70, 6,136-yard West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. The Black Knights will host this year's eight-team field.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS AND LIVE SCORING
The three-day 54-hole championship is scheduled to tee off at 9 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The eight teams will play 18 holes each day. Live scoring for the championship is available here. SCORING INFORMATION
Each of the eight participating teams consists of six golfers, with the top-four scorers in each round counting toward the team score. The final team score will be determined by totaling all completed rounds. Individual scoring consists of the lowest aggregate score of all completed rounds.
RAIDERS CARRY MOMENTUM
Colgate has four top-five finishes this year, including two of the last three tournaments heading into the postseason. The Raiders shattered the program's 36-hole record (849; -3) en route to a third place finish last September in the Autumn Invitational. Dock won the Bucknell Invitational after firing a 65 (-5) in the final round last October, helping Colgate to a third-place finish. Benak has been Colgate's top performer over the last two weeks of the spring season. He tied for fourth at Rum Pointe (+1) to secure Patriot League Golfer of the Week honors and help lead the Raiders to a fourth-place finish of 16 teams in competition.
CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS
Colgate charged from sixth to fourth on the final day of last year's Patriot League championship, marking the fourth consecutive top-four finish at the league tournament. Leo Li shot even par (71-70-69) in the three-day tournament to finish tied for fourth and earn All-Patriot League First Team distinction.
INDIVIDUAL HONORS
The competitor with the lowest three-round score will be the Patriot League Men's Golf Championship individual medalist. The top six finishers receive a spot on the Patriot League Men's Golf All-Tournament Team. The Patriot League men's golf major awards - player of the year, rookie of the year and coaching staff of the year – will be selected by the coaches at the conclusion of the championship.
TEAM CHAMPION EARNS AUTOMATIC BID TO THE NCAA REGIONALS
The Patriot League Champion will receive the League's automatic bid to the NCAA DI Men's Golf Regionals. The individual medalist will also receive a bid to the regionals if they are not on the championship team. The NCAA Regionals will be held from May 18-20 at six sites around the country, including Athens, Ga., Bermuda Run, N.C., Bryan, Texas, Columbus, Ohio, Corvallis, Ore. and Marana, Ariz. The NCAA Championship is scheduled for May 29 to June 3 in Carlsbad, Calif. The 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Selection Show will be on GOLF Channel on Wednesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. ET.
