Hunter Drouin Earns All-America Honorable Mention

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has released its Division I men's preseason All-Americans, recognizing 84 players across 31 institutions.

For the third consecutive season, Hunter Drouin earned a spot on USA Lacrosse's preseason All-American honorable mention list as a midfielder. He becomes the third Raider in program history to receive selected three consecutive seasons.

Brandon Corp '09 was the first Raider to earn this distinction, receiving honorable mention honors in 2007, third-team recognition in 2008, and first-team accolades in 2009. The next player to achieve the milestone was Peter Baum '13, who earned honorable mention honors in 2011 and 2013 and was a first-team selection in 2012.

A senior captain, Drouin earned the recognition following a strong performance during the 2024 season. The New Hampshire native started all 18 games, helping the Raiders capture their first Patriot League championship since 2015. Offensively, he recorded 32 goals and 16 assists for 48 points. Defensively, he posted a career-best 31 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

With less than two weeks remaining before the start of the season, the Colgate Raiders will open play on February 1 at noon, traveling to University Park, Pa., to face the Penn State Nittany Lions.
