Biederman Selected as ECAC Forward of the Week

Senior logged nine points across two games over the weekend

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Senior Elyssa Biederman picked up ECAC Forward of the Week honors after an incredible nine-point weekend.

Biederman scored her second consecutive hat trick and added two assists in the Raiders 6-2 win over St. Lawrence on Friday before posting a goal and three assists to help Colgate complete the perfect weekend with a 5-2 win over No. 11 Clarkson.

Bieds became the first Colgate Raider to score hat tricks in consecutive games and also surpassed 100 career assists to become just the third player in program history to eclipse the century mark. With the five-point performance against St. Lawrence, the senior, also moved to third in points in program history surpassing Jesse Eldridge's 163 points. 

Biederman and the Raiders head to Yale and Brown this weekend looking to continue their four-game win streak. Puck drop for Friday in New Haven, Conn. is set for 6 p.m.
