Cross Country Opens 2026 Season

Both squads place second in meet

HAMILTON - Both men's and women's cross country teams placed second in the Harry Lang Invitational on Saturday to kick off the 2026 cross country season.

WOMEN
Nell Droege was the top Raider, finishing in third with a time of 18:17.0. Lucy Pew crossed the finish line next in sixth with a time of 18:21.1. 

Annie Reilly rounded out the top 10 finishers at 19:18.4 before Giovanna Mantuano finished right behind her in 11th. Isabel Slippen finished 12th and Adeline Armato placed 14th.

MEN
Max Kahn placed sixth and was the top finisher for Colgate with a time of 19:49.3. First-year Ewan Conroy finished eighth with a time of 19:56.5. 

Will Keiser finished just outside the top 10 while Roman Steis placed just behind him in 12th. Jackson Vogel and Nick Larson closed out the top six Colgate finishers.

Colgate will head to Rochester for the Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. The meet is set for 10 a.m.
