LEWISBURG, PA In the first day of Patriot League Indoor Track and Field action, Colgate athletes saw several season best performances and all-time best marks.

On the women's side the day started with all three of the participants in the women's weight throw hitting season bests with
Dominique Groguhe throwing 15.00 meters (49' 2 ½"),
Maya LaRosiliere 13.82 meters (45' 2 ¼") PB, and
Gillian Nadler 11.95 meters (39' 2 ½"). Staying with our field event performances, senior
Amanda Gollaher vaulted her season best at 2.80 meters (9' 2 ¼").

On the oval, our 400 meter runners,
Katie Caracciolo and
Graeson Landsberg both ran personal bests at 63.03 and 64.11 respectively.
Emma Pizer knocked over four seconds off her previous best performance in the mile and ran 5:17.17 in her heat.
Sophia Manners finished 9
th in the 5000 meters and ran her best time on a flat track for that distance.

Similarly, several of the men ran their seasonal or all-time best times in their respective events.
Dillon Aryeh won his heat of the 800 meters and will advance to the final on Sunday in his best time of 1:52.99. In the shorter races, Ben Krill ran his best time in the 60 (7.20 seconds) and the 200 meters (23.01) and brother Ryan ran his best time in the 200 meters (23.92). Johna Joseph, Jr also bettered his season's best performance with a clocking of 23.13. In the two lap race,
Ethan Eisner (51.40),
Luca Sturgeon (52.69) and
Dylan Wehrly (53.15) all ran their fastest time this season on a flat track. The longer events saw
William Crounse and
Peter Marks beat their best times in the mile with a 4:39.27 and 4:42.43 respectively and
Owen Holland lowered his lifetime best in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:02.76.

Off the track,
Cole Blair jumped to a 9
th place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.84 meters (22' 5 ¼") and
Nick Johnson tossed the weight throw 13.10 meters (42' 11 ¾").

"I was impressed by the collective effort our teams showed today as they continued to improve upon their personal records and performances from earlier in the season. Aryeh was definitely the overall highlight of the day but Sophia and Cole also had excellent competitive efforts. The coaching staff has prepared the teams well and we are continuing to take the steps necessary to move our program forward. We are looking forward to tomorrow."
