Raiders Gear Up For Patriot League Championships

Multiple Raiders in Peak Form Ahead of Race

HAMILTON – The men's and women's cross country teams hit the road for the Patriot League Championships on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa. The women are set to run at 10 a.m. with the men's race beginning at 11 a.m.

The Patriot League Championships were last held at Bucknell in 2018, a race that saw the women finish 10th with 282 points, and the men finished 10th with 290 points. 

In the 2021 championships, the women finished ninth with 226 points. Highlighting the event was then-senior Sophia Manners, finishing 15th with a time of 22:17.9.

On the men's side, sophomore Owen Holland led the Raiders pack, finishing his strong freshman season with a time of 27:27.4.

The women will look to lean on Emma Pizer as she continues her strong senior season. Pizer led the way for the Raiders in the IC4A/ECAC Championships, recording a time of 23:18.3. 

For the men, freshman Owen McMorrow and sophomore Owen Holland continue to have impressive seasons, consistently finishing strong for the Raiders.
