Hollomon, Fedele lead Colgate’s Sunday Charge

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Kevin Hollomon and Justin Fedele were Colgate's key climbers on Sunday to help the Raiders finish strong at the Columbia Autumn Invitational in Lake Placid.

Hollomon carded an even-par 71 on Sunday to come away with a top 20 finish in a tie for 18th. The sophomore finished -1 on the back nine after a birdie on the 17th. Fedele was Colgate's biggest mover on Sunday, jumping 17 spots to tie for 21st. He fired a one-under 70, his best round of the season and the seventh-lowest score on Sunday, to finish tied for 21st at +5.

Robbie Herzig finished +1 on Sunday and +5 for the tournament to tie Fedele for 21st overall. Jack Maguire and Dugan McCabe were tied for 28th at +7, while Wyatt Petersen rounded out Colgate's scoring contingent in a tie for 42nd at +12 overall.

Colgate as a team took sixth out of 10 teams in this weekend's tournament. The Raiders finished with a 282-301-288=871 (+19) three-day scorecard. Columbia's 10-under team score won the tournament by one stroke over Sacred Heart.

The Raiders wrap up their fall season next Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 10-11, in Burlington, N.C., where they will compete in the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon.
