FARMINGDALE, NY – Colgate continued its climb up the team standings in the final round of the St. John's University Doc Gimmler invitational with a final round 289 moving the Raiders from 12
th to 11
th in the final team standings. Colgate's three round total of 876 tied the Raiders with Iona College. The tournament was played at Bethpage State Park on the Red Course.
Dugan McCabe led the way for Colgate in the third round with a two under par 68. The 68 was the sixth best round of the day among the 78 participants. McCabe was the Raiders top finisher in a tie for 24
th after the three-round tournament. He tied for the second best showing of the tournament on par threes with a -3, tied for third on the par 5's with a -4, and had an eagle.
Michael Hanratty shot a 218 to finish tied for 35
th and had nine birdies in the 54 holes.
Robbie Herzig played 37 of the 54 holes at par.
Carson Duffy also added an eagle for the Raiders.
