LEWISBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Brayden Dock fired a personal-best 5-under 65, one of the best rounds in Colgate Golf history, to win the Bucknell Invitational on Tuesday.

Dock charged to the top of the leaderboard with five birdies on Tuesday, including two on the final three holes. Holy Cross' Leo Chu shot 1-over on the final three holes opening the door for Dock to take the victory by one stroke. His 65 is second to only Robbie Herzig's 63 for the lowest round in program history.

COACH KIRCHER'S COMMENTS

"Incredible round out of Brayden Dock. Amazing to get an individual win in a field like this. Brayden works hard and pours a lot into his craft. Proud is an understatement. It's nice coming to Bucknell and having some familiarity with the course and event. Coach Binney runs a great week for all of us. Our goal in a final round is always to win the day, and we did that today. It will be a nice van ride back to Hamilton ending the fall campaign on a high note. We keep learning, and will be very eager to get back in the spring. Go gate!"

HOW IT HAPPENED

Dock hammered an eagle on hole No. 9 and finished with five birdies for the best round among the field of 112 golfers on Tuesday. He birdied two of the last three holes to finish first, giving Colgate its first individual medalist since Herzig '25 tied for the top spot at the Upstate Battle at Seven Oaks in April 2023.

Leo Li shot a 74 (+4) on Tuesday to finish 7-over for the tournament in a tie for 22nd place. The junior was steady throughout the weekend, hovering around the top 20 for most of the tournament.

Jayden Freedman enjoyed his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting a 2-over 72 to finish 9-over in a tie for 34th place. Jamison Bryant's consistent climb was capped off with a 72 on Tuesday, placing him in a tie for 59th place with teammate Ronav Benak, who also finished 13-over for the 54-hole tourney.
