LEWISBURG, Pa. – Leo Li leads Colgate Golf tied for eighth after carding an even par 70 in the first round of the Bucknell Invitational. The Raiders sit tied for fifth just nine strokes off the lead in the three-day, 54-hole tournament at Bucknell Country Club. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Leo Li turned in four birdies, tied for the sixth-most on the course Sunday. He sank his final birdie putt on the par-3 hole 17, settling him into a tie for eighth and two strokes off the lead. 
  • Brayden Dock is also in the top 20. He finished 1-under on par 3s, tied for the second-best in the field on Monday. Dock carded a 2-over 72 and is tied for 18th on the leaderboard.
  • Jayden Freedman is one stroke behind Dock after carding a 3-over 73, while Ronav Benak and Gabriel Garson-Goroway are tied for 61st after shooting a pair of 5-over 75s.
  • Jamison Bryant rounded out Colgate's scoring contingent with an 8-over 78 and is tied for 96th.

TEAM SCORING
  • There are 112 golfers from 19 teams competing in this week's 54-hole Bucknell Invitational. Colgate shot a 290 (+10) as a team, tied with Mount St. Mary's for fifth. Robert Morris leads the field after posting a 281 (+1) team score, three strokes ahead of Holy Cross.
