Men's Lacrosse Hosts Rival Binghamton on Tuesday

, N.Y. (4/7/09)—The No. 15-ranked Colgate University men's lacrosse team will put its six-game winning streak on the line tonight Tuesday, April 7, against non-conference rival Binghamton. 

The game is set for 7 p.m. at Andy Kerr Stadium with live stats and video available on the Colgate Athletics Web site.
 
The Raiders and Bearcats are facing-off for the seventh time with Colgate leading the series 6-0. The Raiders won last season at Binghamton 9-7.
 
Colgate (7-3, 4-0) enters with a six-game winning streak after beating Lehigh 10-8 on Saturday, April 4. The Raiders offense is led by senior attacker Brandon Corp (Chittenango, N.Y.). Corp has a team-high 46 points off 25 goals and a career-high 21 assists and leads the nation averaging 4.60 points per game. Classmate Kevin Colleluori (Bethpage, N.Y.) is right behind him with 34 points off a team-high 26 goals and eight assists for 3.77 points per game, seventh in the nation. Senior Nick Monastero (Bohemia, N.Y.) has 25 points followed by junior Ian Murphy (Constantia, N.Y.) with 16.
    
Sophomore face-off specialist Jim Carroll (Nesconset, N.Y.) is 89-of-167 in restarts for a .533 success rate. He also leads the team with 42 groundballs. Between the pipes junior Tim Harrington (Lutherville, Md.) is 7-3 on the season and sports a 9.12 goals against average and .540 save percentage. He is averaging 10.70 saves per game.
 
The Bearcats enter 1-8, after losing at No. 6 UMBC 13-4 on Saturday, April 4. Andy Cook leads the team with 20 points off 11 goals and nine assists, while Brian Donahue is second on the team with 12 points, nine goals and three assists. J.P. Wioncek leads in face-offs while Ben Waldron headlines groundballs. Larry Kline leads between the pipes with a .523 save percentage and a 10.63 goals against average.
