Freshman Year (2010-11): Garnered first team All-Patriot League accolades after winning relay titles at the Patriot League Championships ... set three new Colgate rookie records ... all three came the championships ... took third in the 100 free with a freshman record of 51.05 ... set another rookie record with a second-place swim in the 200 free at 1:49.25 ... placed third in the 500 free with a time of 4:51.24, which was a freshman Colgate record as well ... was a part of the 400 free relay team that won the event on the final day of compeition with a time of 3:23.51 ... also a member of the 800 free relay team that won the title and set a new Colgate, Patriot League and Patriot League Championship record with a time of 7:20.29.

Before Colgate: Swam at the Hackley School for four years ... was a league champion in three freestyle events and two medleys ... two-time All-American ... junior and senior national qualifier in the the 50, 100, 200 free, 100, 200, back, 200 IM events ... was the team MVP in 2010 and a two-year captain.

Personal: Claire Maple Hunter is the daughter of Geoffrey and Marie-Jose Hunter ... was a member of the student government at the Hackley School.
