Biography

Senior Year (2012-13): Had a breakout season for the Raiders, setting eight new personal bests ... cemented a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team for the second year in a row ... first personal best cae against McMaster in the 100 free with a time of 54.92 seconds ... swept both fly events against McMaster as well ... had a best in the 1000 free at Niagara, clocking in at 10:45.86 ... against Cornell, she posted a 2:07.69 in the 200 back for a personal best and then against Binghamton had a best of 1:56.93 in the 200 free ... swam in the 500 free at PLCs and took 14th with a personal best time of 4:38.84 ... ended up fourth in the 100 fly at PLCs with a new personal record of 55.51 seconds ... saved her best showing for the last day with a second-place swim in the 200 fly with a time of 2:00.36 after swimming a best time of 2:00.11 in the prelims. 

Junior Year (2011-12): Named to the All-Patriot League second team based on championship points at the Patriot League Championships…Finished first in the 200 Fly at seven different meets…Swam a team-best in the 200 Fly at 2:00.57 in the PL Championship prelims…Member of the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay teams that finished second at the PL Championships…Finished third in the 200 Fly at the PL Championships.

Sophomore Year (2010-11): Had three top-15 finished at the Patriot League Championships ... swam to a fifth-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.09 and swam a 2:05.00 in the prelims to make the finals ... had a 13th-place swam in the 100 back at 58.93 seconds ... ended up 14th in the 100 fly with a time of 57.50 seconds ... set a career-best time of 29.42 seconds in the 50 back for a sixth-place swim at the FIU Invitational ... also took sixth in the 50 fly with a personal best of 27.82 seconds ... had another top-10 finish at the FIU Invite with a ninth-place swim at 1:03.84.

Freshman Year (2009-10): Swam seasonal bests of 1:01.34 in the 100 back and 1:00.61 in the 100 fly at the ECAC Championships and posted times of 2:17.10 in the 200 back at Binghamton and 2:13.30 in the 200 fly in the tri meet against Army and Lafayette ... teamed with Lia Kunnapas, Emma Santoro and Christy Butrus to break the Colgate freshman record in the 40 medley relay (4:01.20). 

High School:  Was a  four-year letterwinner at the School of the Holy Child … was  a two-time Empire State Games gold medalist in the 100 fly and a four-time gold medalist in the 200 fly … served a team captain her senior season … was a four-time Team MNamed to the All-Patriot League second team based on championship points at the Patriot League Championships…Finished first in the 200 Fly at seven different meets…Swam a team-best in the 200 Fly at 2:00.57 in the PL Championship prelims…Member of the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay teams that finished second at the PL Championships…Finished third in the 200 Fly at the PL Championships.VP … left as the school record holder in the 100 fly,100 back,  and shares the school marks in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay … went undefeated during her prep career in the 100 fly …  is a Junior National qualifier in the 100 and 200 fly and a Senior National qualifier in the 400 medley relay … was a multiple year Westchester County champion in the 100 fly and a finalist in the 100 back and 200 IM … garnered scholastic All-American honors.

Personal:  Is the daughter of Stephen and Susan Marynowski … majoring in neuroscience ... despite being from New York, is an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan.
