Before Colgate
Marissa Buck, a 2026 graduate of Clearview Regional, was a three-year varsity field hockey player with 536 career saves, 46 games with one or fewer goals against, and a .882 career save percentage; in her senior year she recorded 105 saves, 8 goals allowed, a .914 save percentage, and a 22–3 record while breaking the school saves record.. earned 1st Team All Group 3 (2023, 2025), 2nd Team All Group 3 (2024), 1st Team All South Jersey (2024, 2025), 2nd Team All South Jersey (2023), 1st Team All Tri-County (2024, 2025), Max Field Hockey 2nd Team New Jersey All Region (2024, 2025), NFHCA High School Watch List (2024, 2025), Tri-County Goalkeeper to Watch (2023, 2024, 2025), Tri-County Defensive Player of the Week (2023, 2024), Max Field Hockey National High School Invitational All Team 2 (2024), South Jersey Times All Area Team 1, NJ.com MVP in Sectional Semifinal (2024), NJ.com “Star” in State Final (2023, 2025), Featured in NJ.com “Top Sophomores” (2023) and “Top Juniors” (2024), and was a 11-time Most Valuable Player and Key Defensive Player (2024); she helped lead teams to New Jersey Group 3 State Championships (2023, 2024, 2025), South Jersey Group 3 Championships (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025), and Tri-County Championship (2025)... while also earning High School National Academic Squad honors (2024, 2025), participating in National Science Honors Society, Varsity Club, Pre-Med Club, and serving as 2-term Class Vice President, and with her club team qualified for NCCs (2021) and NITS (2022–2026).
