Before Colgate
Rotteveel played four years of varsity field hockey at Lawrence High School…she scored 103 goals, recorded 53 assists, and totaled 259 points during her high school career….as a senior, she notched 46 goals and tallied 22 assists for a combined 114 points…Rotteveel earned the Most Valuable Player award (2024) and was a two-time Offensive MVP (2023, 2022)… the New Jersey native was also a three-time All-Conference First Team member (2024, 2023, 2022) and a Second Team honoree (2021), the Trenton Times and Trentonian Player of the Year (2024), and was a three-time selection on the Trenton Times All-Area Team (2024, 2023, 2022), a two-time Central Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association First Team member (2024,2023), and a a Second Team selection (2022), and was named to the All-NJ Group 3 Third Team, (2024,2023), while being a four-time selection to the Top 100 Players in New Jersey list (2021-2024)...Rotteveel helped her team win the Marcer County Tournament Championship (2021)... she also played for Princeton Field Hockey Club, helping the team become JPOL U19 Region 6 Champions...academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Family: Daughter of Christine and Andrew Rotteveel…has three brothers, Chase, Gabriel, and Jude.
On Choosing Colgate
"I really wanted a strong academic school with a strong field hockey program. I really like the environment at Colgate, as well as the team culture. The program is very competitive, along with the academics. I like the liberal arts structure of the college, and the smaller class structure."
