A 2020 graduate of Kingwood Park High School … a multi-sport athlete, lettered in both soccer and volleyball … recorded a .228 hitting percentage on 1021 attempts, along with 399 kills and 290 digs in her senior season … totaled 2164 attacks in her career with a .210 hitting percentage, in addition to 790 kills and 737 digs … served as a two-time team captain … also competed with the Houston Juniors Volleyball Club … won the 2018 Texas Volleyball 5A State Championship and was named State Championship MVP … also a two-time soccer state finalist in 2018 and 2019 … named to the Texas Association of Volleyball Coaches All-State Team and All-Star Team … Vype Houston Player of the Year … named Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association First Team and Hitter of the Year and Houston Chronicle Greater Houston Volleyball Player of the Year … also garnered a spot on the All-State Academic Team … was a member of the National Honor Society … also participated in Math National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, was a Senior Class Officer and member of the Student Council.

Overmyer on why she chose Colgate: "I chose Colgate because there was such an amazing team culture. The university focuses so strongly on giving students opportunities to be successful after they graduate, while athletically, I felt I could be a key contributor to the winning program that Coach Baker has developed. I am so excited to be a Raider."
