Owens Earns Patriot League Player of the Week

First Weekly Award for Colgate Volleyball

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After the Raiders' remarkable 3-0 showing in the Ellis Rowland Memorial Tournament, Tiana Owens was named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the league announced.

Owens was named the tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament Team after leading Colgate to victories over Northeastern (3-2), UAlbany (3-1), and Dartmouth (3-0).

On the attacking end, Owens totaled 52 kills over the weekend for a .215 hitting percentage. The junior totaled 60 points, including seven service aces and an assist. Defensively, she recorded 26 digs and two total blocks.

Hannah Langton and Reagan Knipling earned honorable mention from the league for their contributions to the team's flawless weekend.
