TEAMS FEATURED
COLGATE
The Raiders just hosted the Colgate Volleyball Classic, featuring opponents No. 7 Arizona State, Princeton and Villanova. Colgate went 1-2, sweeping Princeton and falling to the Sun Devils, 3-0, and Villanova, 3-2, in a five-set thriller. Junior Hannah Langton was named to the all-tournament team for her performance over the weekend. Langton started and played in all nine sets, totaling 36 digs, with 10 or more in each match, and registering 14 assists.
NORTHEASTERN
The Huskies are 1-4 on the season after earning their first win over Holy Cross at the Northeastern Tournament, which they hosted. They dropped their other two matches in five sets to Fairfield and Harvard. Sophomore Emma Rowell put up big numbers offensively over the weekend, accumulating 43 kills: nine against Holy Cross, 19 against Fairfield and 15 against Harvard. Kaylin Daniels has totaled 21 blocks on the season, including 19 block assists and two solo blocks.
UALBANY
The Great Danes are 2-4 on the season, participating in the Black Knight Invitational in their opening weekend and most recently at the Cornell Invitational. In Ithaca, N.Y., UAlbany posted a 2-1 showing, notching its first two wins of the season. The offensive front was led by Pinar Erol and Lily Lott. Combined, the two accumulated 60 kills in the three matches, with both logging double-digit kills in wins over Cornell and Howard.
DARTMOUTH
The Big Green are 2-1 to start the season. Dartmouth started its season at the Buffalo/Canisius Invitational. The Big Green beat Canisius twice, 3-1 in both matches, while falling 3-1 to Buffalo. The team's two wins were led by Zori Brown with 36 kills and Riley Imamura with 35. Elle McCreery has been a big asset as the team's middle blocker, totaling 17 blocks, including 11 block assists and six solo blocks.
