Yates earns first career goal



HAMILTON - Two goals in five minutes early in the second half for Le Moyne were enough as the Raiders fell 3-1 on home turf on Thursday night.

MOMENTS OF THE MATCH
  • Le Moyne took the lead 27 minutes into the match.
  • Colgate responded with a headed goal by Charlie Yates off a cross from Connor Cates.
  • The match was tied 1-1 despite the Raiders being outshot in the first half.
  • The Dolphins scored two goals early in the second half five minutes apart to take a 3-1 lead.
  • Yates and Alex St. John responded with four shots in the next five minutes but was unable to find the back of the net.
  • Colgate continued to push for a goal but Le Moyne was able to hold on to earn the win.
