KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Colgate men's basketball team and three of its student-athletes have been recognized for their exceptional performance in the classroom, earning academic honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for the 2025-26 academic year.
On the individual level, Cooper Wright, Kyle Carlesimo, and Sam Wright all secured placement on the NABC Honors Court. Collectively, the Raiders' program was honored with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. This is Carlesimo's second straight year being named to the honors court, while it's the first recognition for both Cooper and Sam.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs across the country that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court highlights the achievements of junior, senior, and graduate student student-athletes who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
