Women's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Recognition

HAMILTON – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes, with Colgate earning ITA All-Academic Team honors alongside eight women's tennis players who were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Across NCAA Division I women's tennis, 1,501 student-athletes and 231 programs were recognized this year.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must have at least a 3.50 GPA for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must have a team GPA of 3.20 or higher, all student-athletes must be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners must be included in the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

"This is a well earned award for this group, who all have a tremendous work ethic on court, in the classroom and in their career development," said head coach Damien Prohaska. "We have maintained an annual team GPA of 3.2 or great for close to a decade now, so I'm overjoyed that our program is officially recognized. Endlessly proud of this group!"

The women's tennis team had eight individual recipients in the 2026 academic year. Gigi Bohan, Paige Rothwell, Vivian Hall, Avery Isaac, Amelia Galin, Sasha Herman, Caroline Brown and Rebecca Hess were each named ITA Scholar-Athletes in recognition of their academic excellence.
