St. John, Pipkin, Vichengrad pick up honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Three Raiders earned Patriot League honors this week after a 4-1 win over Navy on Saturday.

Alex St. John led the way with two goals and an assist as he earned Patriot League Forward of the Week. The junior scored the opening goal of the game before a highlight reel goal off a Blake Pipkin cross. St. John now has five goals and two assists in his career with Colgate.

Pipkin assisted each of St. John's goals to earn Midfielder of the Week honors. The first assist was a defense-slicing through ball to Connor Cates who found St. John in the middle. The second came on a cross to St. John in the box. This is Pipkin's second career weekly honor and first this season.

Gavin Vichengrad rounds out the three weekly honors for the Raiders. The first year was selected as Rookie of the Week and the Goalkeeper of the week after making a career-best nine saves in the win over Navy. Vichengrad has started each of the last five games for Colgate, averaging just 1.10 goals against per game and an 0.842 save percentage.

This is the first time the Raiders have earned three weekly honors in a single week since Aug. 25, 2025. Colgate also registered its first win against Navy in Annapolis since 2015.

Colgate is back at home this Friday against Boston U. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Beyer-Small '76 Field
