Raiders Fall to Niagara, 19-5

Kait Henning Leads Team With Three Points

Box Score NIAGARA FALLS - Kait Henning scored two goals in a 19-5 loss to Niagara on Saturday afternoon in Niagara Falls.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Raiders were unable to convert on a few chances early in the game allowing Niagara to take a 5-0 lead after the first quarter.

Kyra Lucey and Henning scored two goals in quick succession to cut the deficit to 7-2 early in the second quarter. Henning would get her second of the game and sixth of the season with 30 seconds left in the first half as Niagara led 10-3 at the break.

Devon Maillet scored her third of the season in the third frame before Lucy Licata would net the final Raider goal of the day as they fell 18-5 in Niagara Falls.

The Raiders offense was led by Henning with two goals and one assist. Caroline Panzirer tacked on an assist and one caused turnover.

Lauren Solis and Helena Morrison combined to make 11 saves in between the pipes.

UP NEXT
The Raiders (0-4) return to Hamilton to welcome UAlbany on Saturday, Mar. 2. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at Andy Kerr Stadium.
